My wife and daughter and I recently spent 3 nights at the Bijele Apartment and can highly recommend it. It is newly renovated with fully modern features (laptop with Internet access, DVD player, etc.) but still retains some features, including the beams, from the original 1667 building as well as some charming 19th century furniture. It is located on Petilovrijenci, about 20 yards from Stradun in almost the exact center of the Old City. The owner, Zeljka, is very helpful. You can check it out at www.bijelekuce.hr.
