Hi,
What is the best way to get directly from Split airport to Hvar 1st of Sept. We will have luggage so trying to avoid transfer in town(Split). Then we leave Hvar-Dubrovnik. Ferry directly from Hvar or go back to Split and drive/bus?

Hi I noticed your question on the forum and my husband and I will also be on a ferry September 1st from Split to Hvar. Is this your honeymoon trip? We are staying in Split a few days - maybe we can see you in the ferry line. We will be taking the car ferry, and of course I am not sure which one until we get in line. We are taking the mid/late afternoon catamaran to Hvar as we won%26#39;t have a car.
We are staying 4 nights then off to Dubrovnik for 4 nights. Can%26#39;t wait :)
We are staying at the Amfora. Should meet up for a drink!

There is an airport bus run by Croatia Airlines that runs from the airport to the ferry port/bus station in the centre of Split. Im told it%26#39;s about 3 Euro. It is supposed to run to meet the Croatia Airlines flights but it does actually run more often than that, and meets other flights, although the exact times are a bit of a mystery. It stops about 25 yards from the water%26#39;s edge.
Ferry every time for me - even in bad weather - you can wander around, get a coffee, food, have a lie-down, chat to loads of different people etc.
