Where to stay in Split? 1 night in August

Hi there!

We are looking for accommodation in Split for 1 night in late August.

We will be arriving by train at around 5:00pm in the evening. The next morning we need to be at the port by 11am for a tour which is departing there.

We are looking for accommodation which is easily accessible from the train station, and to the port. Either something inbetween them perhaps, or whatever you might suggest.

We are happy with hostel accommodation - and can also consider dorms if the price difference to private rooms is considerable (no more than 8 bed rooms though!)

Basically need something to suit the above itinerary - which is also AFFORDABLE (i.e not flash hotels etc) and CLEAN, and SAFE.

Any suggestions welcome - feel free to ask if you need any more information!

How about the following place right within Diocletian%26#39;s Palace. They list the price at 70 Euros a night, so don%26#39;t know if thats too much or not.
