We are planning on a day trip to Krka in October and were thinking of staying in Sibenik for 1 night (or maybe 2). I wanted to book into The Konoba but there is no availibility, can anyone recommend anywhere else?

I couldn%26#39;t find too many reviews online about hotels in Sibenik, but did come across the following hotel--

It is not in Sibenik itself, but it looks like its on the Krka River near Sibenik. Maybe you would want to take a look and see what you think?
I do like the looks of the Konoba too!!!

Hotel Panorama, mentioned above, is good place, you%26#39;ll have great view on the whole Šibenik, and it%26#39;s only few mins drive from the city itself!

Few other options.
There are few apartments a hotel and a camp site at Eastern entrance Lozovac.That is a handy gate to use if with own vehicle.If no crowd they allow you to drive and park right above the cascades.From Sibenik follow direction for Bilice and Lozovac/National Park.On a bad side Lozovac as the the place has no character.
Skradin is considered a main entrance for Krka.Few hotels and lots of apartments.As opposite from Lozovac,Skradin has a lots of charm.Little setback is that getting to cascades (entering the park) you should either walk for 2 hours (path/road is wide,flat %26amp; scenic )or being bussed by NP service.
October is a quiet low season.Crowds should be long gone but not all the sleepers are open.
