My Girlfriend and I will be arriving in Dubrovnik at the beginning of October and would like to rent an apartment. We are both in our 40%26#39;s and would like a place with a view and close to the sights restaurants etc. When looking at apartment prices it seems that those in the old town are cheaper than those outside the city walls....Why the difference and does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Do send enquiries asking for all the costs. Somebody writes the total price incl.taxes , and somebody shows just the net price and than ads tax, surplus for A/C etc.

Inside the town the rooms will often be very small and you will not have a view. Just outside the gates and up the hill a bit has great views of the city, the sea etc. I used one at the start of last October that was in such a position - only problem was the many steps up.

Thanks for the info!!
