one day trips from Pula to Venezia and Brijuni

Hi, everyone,

We will arrive in Pula on Saturday, August 16, by car, from Krk. We would like to stay 3 days and go to Porer, Brijuni National Park and Venezia.

Does anyone know if there are one day trips to Brijuni and Venezia on Sunday or Monday? Our travel agency, organizes this trips only from Tuesday to Friday.

Both Brijuni %26amp; Venice are %26quot;open%26quot; every day so hopefully there should be an agency that operates on those days too.However,going on your own is not a big deal since you already have a car.

For Brijuni,you have tio drive 10 minutes.Just ask any agency (or try yourself) to pre-book a transport/boat from Fazana at 052 525 888.(You may skip the booking but expect a bit of the hassle from nasty Diabolic Duo.)

234km for the Venice may seem a lot but it%26#39;s mainly a motorway.Behind a wheel is not as nice as on the boat deck but you have a full time frame freedom.To avoid road congestion go to Venice on Monday.Alternative is to drop a car at Trieste and than catch a 2hr train to Venezia Santa Lucia (via Venezia Mestre)

On a way to/from Porec stop at Rovinj.You will not regret it.

venezialines goes on tuesdays , fridays and sundays .

the catamaran trip takes just over two hours , from pula harbor at 8am . return is at 5pm and you arrive in pula before 8pm . price per adult is 520 kuna or 71 euro , you%26#39;ll have to book a week in advance though to be sure , as july and august trips tend to be full well in time .

You really gave me some helpfull info. The good news is that there are some alternatives, for this trips, as I expected and as it is normal, after all....

Anyhow, before arriving to Pula, we will stay 6 days in Njivice, on Krk island, so we will try to make some reservations from there.......or....finally we will go by car....

Nevertheless, we will not miss Rovinj ;)

Could you recommend me some nice accomodation in Pula? 2 persons...
