how long to visit the palace

We are wondering how long to allow for a good visit to the Palace in Split. We are dropping off a car and going to Vis, thus, need to know about the lenght of a visit. Thanks,

Agree that two hours would be a good amount of time to visit. Unless you would want to do some shopping in Split.

allow time also to have a drink or a light lunch as well - enjoyed a couple of decent meals and a few beers during my week in Split within the Palace complex - very atmospheric and a chance to relax, take it all in, people watch and get a sense of what the place was like years ago

There is near above the ferry terminal a big market, green market and all the possible other things, souvenirs, clothes, shoes,jewelry etc.

You can also buy fruits at a much lower price than on Vis.

IS it easy to get to teh palace from the ferry port?

Yes, it is 5 min walking distance.
