Camping near Senj

Hello,

I%26#39;m searching for a camp site that is near to Senj (preferably south of it) on the internet but I found only very few results (only one camping in Sveti Juraj and one in Senj)

Is it possible that there are so few campings in this area or I%26#39;m searching something wrong?

Is there anybody who knows about a camping in this area? I%26#39;d be glad if you could give me some recommendations.

Your search is probably right.The zone south of Senj to Karlobag is some kind of no man%26#39;s land.Scenic road goes high above hard-to-access sea and that is all that is.

On a good side you can stop and camp wherever you want (deprived of all the services).If doing so make sure your tent is well grounded.Nasty wind whirls from time to time.The ground is mostly loose rocks so you can train your mosaic/Lego skills.

There may be very few low profile rooms for rent along the road.By the logic of supply demand they should be cheap.But knowing the mental mentality - they could be a daytime robbery too.

I would just take one of the ones you found. Kefa is right, there isn%26#39;t much between Senj and Karlobag.

Unfortunately the weather forecast is very bad for this weekend when we wanted to spend there 2 days... so I%26#39;ll have more time to find a better plan for our next free weekend - when the weather will also be fine :)
