Does anyone know of the fare for a taxi from airport to ferry. the car agency wants $85 to drop off a car at the ferry and nothing if we take it to the airport? Any suggestions?

I would look into seeing if you could take a bus from the airport into Split. I would think that would be much cheaper than taking the taxi. You could also look into buses from Trogir to Split? Good luck.

Thanks, but we have to drop the car off in Split. Auto Europe has been a huge hassle, in case anyone wants to know. At one point, they wanted to charge us an extra day..... for the same 7 day rental..they don%26#39;t have their.....together. Think that we will just pay the $85 extra , the car was really cheap, and just chalk it off.

But the airport is nearer to Trogir than Split, so you still might want to look into the bus. I would think a taxi would cost you quite a bit, but maybe someone else can help you with that. Or maybe it would be better to take the 85 dollar loss?

Dropping the car at the airport is resonable only if you catch the bus back to Split, otherwise you will pay the taxi maybe 60 USD.

So taking the taxi would save you some money, but if you can take the bus it will save you more.

Yes, drop it in the ferry port, now I remember it will prolonge your time in walking around Split center, before taking the Vis ferry, right?

Thanks for all the good info. I think that we will just take the hit of $85 and call it a day. Worrying about bus times ect. don%26#39;t want to ruin a good vacation, because of extra money (except, i dont want to spend it!)and we will have more time to explore split. Thanks everyone for the info...

anyone know the price of the bus?? and it should go regularly? yes,
|||
Hi,
buses go after every Cro-airlines flight; they are waiting for the passengers; it costs 30 Kuna or 5 Euro and you can buy the ticket on board; I hope that the price didn%26#39;t change this year
