Hi, I am wanting to drive my campervan from Split to Athens however my Insurance does not cover Albania or Serbia/Montenegro. I have been reading conflicting info on Green Cards, purchasing insurance at borders etc. Does anyone know definitively what I can do in regard to insurance and driving through these countries and what the costs involved are??
I have only a week to drive there as I am just driving to Athens to catch a flight to Egypt and leave my van at the airport, and then I will have to drive back to London gradually from athens when I return from Egypt. If the insurance is not possible can someone suggest an alternative route??? Or am I better off leaving my van in Split and making other arrangements??
Any help would be much appreciated.
