Hi, I%26#39;m planning on a December trip to Croatia. I%26#39;ve had a look for flights but there doesn%26#39;t seem to be any for sale at the moment (although flights to most other countries seem to be available in december). Anyone have any idea why this is? Also when do they go on sale?

Try speaking to Croatia Airlines in London. There probably wont we a lot else to Split in December (assuming you want to go to Split as you have posted in the Split forum).

Not sure where you are looking but BA pulled out last year and the cheapo airlines don%26#39;t go to Split in the winter so far as I am aware. As previous poster said, Croatia Airlines may be your answer. However, BA does fly to Dubrovnik all year round as do other carriers so you could enter Croatia there and travel up the coast (bus or boat or car).
BA pulled out of the winter route as they said it wasn%26#39;t profitable - they then pulled out of the summer route which was always full so far as I could see...
Germanwings is flying Stansted-Split in December BTW.

Apologies if any of this repeats previous posts.
German Wings fly from Stansted to Zagreb and Split during the winter (also Dubrovnik, Pula and Zadar during the summer). These flights go via Cologne/Bonn or Stuttgart.
Ryaniar%26#39;s routes to Croatia (Stansted to Pula and Zadar) are currently on sale until end of Oct. I have previously flown with Ryanair to Pula during the winter months so I assume they are just yet to release these seats for sale.
Wizzair have availability during December on their Luton to Zagreb route.
Easyjet have a Gatwick to Split route but don%26#39;t seem to have any availability in December (don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s a summer only route or they%26#39;ve just not released flights that far ahead yet).
As stated above, BA have their year round Gatwick to Dubrovnik route. From experience this route is (obviously) not cheap in August but it may be better priced in December.
Thomsonfly have a number of routes into both Pula and Dubrovnik (from London, Manchester and Birmingham) but as these are classed as %26quot;holiday flights%26quot; I don%26#39;t think they run during December.
Croatia Airlines currently have availability in December on their routes from London. These will go via Zagreb but can be a good deal if you catch one of CA%26#39;s special offers. Alternatively you could fly into Zagreb with Wizzair and then pick up a connecting Croatia Airlines flight if it%26#39;s Split you%26#39;re trying to get to. If you want to fly directly to Split then CA have direct flights on Saturday%26#39;s and Wednesdays.
Other options include flying to Split via Frankfurt (Lufthansa or CA) or Rome Fiumcino (Air One or CA).
