How far a drive is it from Dubrovnik to Split? Is there a train option?

what about the Ferry?

The ferry is an all day affair, as it goes to Korcula and Hvar before heading into Split. The bus is about 5 hours or so.

Yes the bus will be much faster than the ferry.
