looking for accommodation

hello everyone,

i am next week with my girl-friend in dubrovnik and lookin for a nice place to stay for some days (4-6 nights). Could anyone of you recommend a lovely and clean appartment for two persons to me? The price should not exceed 50 euro per night....

Thank u all for answers!

Salute, Manuel

Manolis, I%26#39;ve been looking for accommodation myself and found this list of sites have a lot of aparments on them:

www.dubrovnik-apartments.com/

I have seen so many now I am confused about staying in the old town or outside it? I want to stay near the town centre - which area would people recommend to stay?

|||

For me, the perfect location would be something overlooking the Old Town, not inside it. I would love to get up in the morning, walk out on the terrace and gaze at the walls of Dubrovnik.

Hi Barry, that sounds good! But is it as steep as it looks to some of the apartments overlooking the old town? Also, I would assume that the old town is quieter as there are no cars - or is this just wishful thinking? (The one thing I really want from any accommodation is the ability to get a good night sleep!). Thanks in advance!

Actually some parts of Old Town can be very noisy and you won%26#39;t get much sleep there. If you are near the Stradun- the main street, there will be people up very late at night making noise. Even without cars it might be a bit noisy. I understand the thought about not walking up too many stairs because that won%26#39;t be too fun, but maybe you could find something not too far up!

Thanks for the advice! I think I%26#39;ll have to change my original plans of staying in the Old Town part

Manolis, požuri, hurry up , because I think that most of the apts. are booked already, it is the peak of the season.

we stayed in Apartment Silva for our honeymoon in June which overlooks the harbor and old town. It was a wonderful location and well appointed apartment. It could not be more perfect. It may be a tadout of range, as I believe we paid 80 euro/night. But for what you are looking for, it is perfect. From the bedroom and main room window it feels as though you could touch Lokrum and the walls.

After looking at the site provided, I will have to say that Apt. Silva has a very very nice location and not too many steps up!
