Has anyone spent a night in Ploce? It is hard to find info in English on the city. We have an early morning train to catch from Ploce to Mostar, and are wondering about accomodation.

I don%26#39;t know that Ploce is a big tourist destination, hence the lack of rooms? It is a very important industrial center and port. It just didn%26#39;t seem very touristy or clean when we entered there on a ferry from Trpanj. I am sure there has to be someplace there to stay, but maybe someone else can help you.
I did a search on the Croatian National Tourist Board site and the only hotel that came up was the Hotel Bebic, but there isn%26#39;t too much info about it that I can find.

consider taking a bus to Mostar as opposed to the train. going by bus will allow you more leeway in a starting point since (i would think) there are more buses heading to mostar than trains. With a bus, you could leave for mostar from Split, Makarska or Dubrovnik.
