Parking

We will be driving to Dubrovnik at the end of the month. If we stay in the old city is parking the car outside the walls overnight a problem?

I don%26#39;t know that it is realistic to think that you will be able to get parking anywhere near the Old Town.

We visited Croatia a couple of years ago and found that generally parking anywhere popular was a problem . Its a country squeezed between sea and mountain, and there%26#39;s not much space on the coastal strip. Think about this when you select you car (assuming you%26#39;re hiring). When we visited Dubrovnik, we ended up parking on the street about a mile away from the old town. No problem - just a bit of a hike. You need to get there early in the day, certainly before the cruise ships disgorge their hoards of visitors, so staying inside or nearby is ideal
