I%26#39;m off the Porec tomorrow %26amp; when i booked my holiday i wanted to get away from it all %26amp; forget about `old blighty` for a week but, i%26#39;m a HUGE rugby fan %26amp; now realise i need my rugby fix. Does anyone know of a Bar in or around Porec that may have English TV channels?
I would be most grateful %26amp; so would my girlfriend!

just back from Porec myself and managed (finally) to find a bar in Porec town that shows the rugby world cup. I think its called Dandys. It%26#39;s across the street from a restaurant called Paradiso just off the main square.
The bar has a load of satellite channels %26amp; shows all the football etc. There were only 2 of us in there watching the rugby though.

Thanks Slashman and Hamstring - I enjoy watching ball games also and found Dandy%26#39;s Barman to be very helpful. He even kept the bar open very late for the two of us so that we could finish watching the game. The bar wasn%26#39;t easy to find from the square but if you take the first road into the commercial area along the seafront after Hotel Porec (look for the casino sign) and its on the left of this street.
I know its ages ago since you raised this question, but I found this bar via this forum.
