Where in Croatia for a 1 week holiday

Hi

I am looking to book a one week holiday to Croatia. As this is in addition to our main long haul holiday we want to have the easiest journey from the UK (I understand you have to use a ferry to get to certain places)

Can anyone recommend where in Croatia to go, we will be travelling with our son who will be 8 years old. We enjoy beautiful scenary, great food, live music (not essential) and to explore, though we aren%26#39;t particular beach lovers it would be nice to be on the coast.

I am using my good old Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for the holiday so we will be using Cosmos holidays incase anyone has stayed in any of their hotels.

To suit all your requirements,i would choose Rovinj,. Cosmos have quite a few hotels to choose from there

I dont know about the hotel issue, but you may also want to consider Dubrovnik. It has everything you are looking for, is right on the coast (obviously) but not a beach areaper se, and has access to many different day trips which would be interesting. It is the center of the tourist industry in Croatia and is well worth the effort. There are numerous posts about what to do in Croatia and possible day trips, so I will let you enjoy reading them on your own. Good luck.

The suggestions of Rovinj and Dubrovnik are both very good suggestions. Chose whatever one of those best fits your hotel needs.
