Which currency should we get - Kuna or Euros?

Hello, can anyone please tell me which currency we should take with us, or even use in Croatia? Nearly all our accomdation is being charged in Euros but I know the currency is Kuna, so i am a little confused as to which currency should be used!

Many thanks, Nicol

You can pay for accommodation in Euro if they charge you in that. Or you can ask for the price in kuna and pay in that I have found. For everything else you need kuna. If you know exactly how much you will be paying in Euro, because you have all your accommodation sorted, you could get that amount. I have said that I don%26#39;t have Euro and I can only pay in kuna - no-one is going to refuse it. I think it is believed to be easier to quote Euro - but not if you don%26#39;t live in the Eurozone!

I would only take Kuna. All the accomodations that quoted me in Euros accepted Kuna.
