Croatia opinions/reccommendations please

We have decided on Croatia we always wanted to go there on our Honeymoon and have done a long haul this year so fancy some Europe.

I dont know whether to go for a package ie a Travel Agent or do our own thing ie Aer Lingus/Ryan Air and book online. We plan on going for 2 wks Dubrovnik, Hvar, Brac, Korcula a must and all the little places inbetween. dont know if the package leaves you flexible as you have to spend a week each in the two cities and I only wanted to spend about 4 days in Dubrovnik or would it be better to do the package and use two cities as based for day trips?? Dont know what the bus/ferry service is like there is it realiable and quick? Dont want to backpack as those days are over would like some luxury but dont want to be tied down to a specific hotel and length of time in one place. Know its a bit long winded but open to suggestions of how I can fit in most of the enjoyable sights without hassle

i would recommend getting a package tailored for you by Secret Dalmatia since they specialize in very customized itineraries. Just contact them and write all this you wrote here. i am sure you will be more than pleased!

if doing your own thing, then no need to worry about the connecting services since Croatia has a good bus and ferry service along the coast. The places mentioned are great although I would recommend maybe to start from Split (if you can get good flights) and then to go south.
