Dining at Nautika - What time?

Hi there,

I will be making our reservation for Nautika and am wondering what time dinner is typically served? When we were in Italy we usually dined around 9pm.

All the photos I see for Nautica are in the daylight, would you recommend a late night dinner or more of a sunset? And what time would that be?

Thanks in advance!

When we were in Croatia we usually ended up eating at sometime between 7 and 8pm. I would say make the reservation for 8.

Hi There, having dined there last week my advice would be don%26#39;t bother going. For 2 of us, we paid £140 for 2 sparkling wine aperatifs, 2 courses and a bottle of wine!!! We were given a prestarter of something nondescript in a shot glass and were charged 35 Kunas each for this as well as having a cover charge added to our bill!! Dubrovnik as a whole isn%26#39;t a great gourmet destination. The best meal we had was at Orhan which is just roung the corner from Nautika.....much better food at a third of the price. Also good seafood place right on the old port that was great and very cheap. Nautika is all fur coat and no knickers!!

we loved it - and found in dubrovnik you normaly get what you pay for. Nautika is well known as the best reaturant in Dubrovnik - guess you were just unlucky.

I would book for 8 also.

Spartakev....you obviously have more money than taste.......Michelin starred establishments don%26#39;t charge the prices that Nautika does!! I had a bowl of very heavy pasta for £24 and an awful seafood Brodetto (Fish stew) for £25. My wife%26#39;s Ravioli was crunchy it was that old!!

I thought the food was very good at Nautika, but yes, a bit overpriced.

cheshireboy - reckon cheshire must be cheaper than London - used to paying high prices for good food and service, which is what we found nautika to be.

Spartakev, I lived in London for 6 years and also worked in many restaurants there. Nautika wouldn%26#39;t survive for 5 minutes in London.

Nautika is the best restaurant in Croatia that I have visited during my stay in that country. I really enjoyed the quality of food as well as service. I came at the restaurant at 21:30 and they were opened till 1 o%26#39;clock. They are open whole day. I truly recommend you to visit that restaurant.

Have not eaten there myself as our friends in Dubrovnik warned us off and the locals said it was a rip off. Having said that I also don%26#39;t think Dubrovnik is great for restaurants. Have eaten so much better in other Croatian towns and cities, especially in Istria.

If you want to spend a really remarkable evening , go to Gil%26#39;s. Expensive, but worth it. You can read my review.
