Dubrovnik in October

We have booked an apartment in Lapad for the first week in October and are looking forward to our stay. A few questions for experts out there.

Are buses to the old city as frequent, I%26#39;ve read about every fifteen minutes?

Are organised trips still available?

Will shops and restaurants be open normal hours?

What is the cost of a taxi from the old city to Lapad?

I%26#39;ve read good reports of weather at this time of year, after our British summer I%26#39;m hoping for good weather!

Aparment is Pucica 2, are shops, supermarkets, restaurants nearby?

the weather will still be good in croatia - lapad is a lovely area - make sure you take the walk down to the water and over to gruz to see the lovely yachts and watch the world go by. there are very regular buses from Lapad into town but the walk is beautiful too - about 40 minutes walk. Shops and restaurants will be open and there will be little shops nearby. There is a massive supermarket in Gruz called KONZUM. sells everything from food to hardware.
