Hi I am arriving into Dubrovnik on a flight @ 12.oo PM on Sunday the 24th of August ... I was hoping to get to hvar that day .. it appears the Marco Polo sails @ 10.00 AM ... is there another way to get to Hvar on the 24th ???? Many thanks for your help

I think your best option would be to take a bus to Split and then a ferry or catamaran to Hvar from there.

Having researched travelling from Dubrovnik to Hvar and vice versa quite a bit, I think the best option is definitely to get the bus from Dubrovnik to Split (which is very regular), and then the ferry or catamaran to Hvar. Hope this helps!

the best way to come to hvar from dubrovnik is to take the ferry (marco polo) at 10 AM. it takes 6 hours to arrive to stari grad (the main harbour on island of hvar). this is also the cheapest way to arrive to hvar!
