vis to havr

I am trying to catch a ferry from vis to hvar. I see there is only one ferry that goes in september on tuesday. Is there any other way to get there without traveling back to split? Also if i go visit just one island which is better vis or hvar?

I dont know the ferry answer. As for which is better, I think it depends on what you are looking for. I loved Vis. It is beautiful, quaint and relaxing, but it is quieter than Hvar. Hvar seems to more of a social scene.

Direct connection on Tuesdays only, the other days via Split.

Vis is less touristy.

We travelled from Vis back to Split, ran to another ferry and were off to Hvar within half an hour. If the weather is great it%26#39;s not such a sacrifice to sit on top of a Croatian ferry for a few hours...
