Zagreb airport to Hotel Dubrovnik

We arrive at 9PM into Zagreb airport. . Do you recommend a cab to our hotel and should we have Kuno or euros to pay? What might be the approximate cost? Thank You

As a kid they scared me with the stories of USD55 fares so taxifobia remained. But if you still see that as a best bet do ask for the receipt before paying for it.

Croatia Airlines bus is waiting for the Croatia Airlines flights/passengers whenever they arrive.Big white coach takes you (USD7) to the central bus station.Newstand sells (USD2) tram tickets.Cross the rail tracks look for the tram no.6.Off at the main square 10 mins later.Too easy.No hassle.

For little better rate always carry Kunas.

penny - if you book with a particular agency they will have a bus waiting for you.

Dubrovnik is approx. 16 km from the airport - a taxi will probably cost between 200 and 250 kuna. (7 kuna to one euro)

pay in Kuna - this is their currency

thats like asking if they take croatian kuna in the New York subway.

sorry penny

just realised you said ZAGREG airport.

should that not be DUBROVNIK airport. Zagreb is hours away.

Zagreb Airport - Hotel Dubrovik fare should be 150-180 Kuna (1USD=4,8Kn). Even more on Sundays and at night.

Are you on a Continental flight to Paris and connect with Air France? I am also arriving in Zagreb at 9PM via Air France, however, flying Continental across the pond. I leave from Newark. I contacted the Hotel Dubrovnik, where I am staying also. They are picking me up at the airport and will charge my hotel bill for the transfer. I believe the price is about $50.00. Contact the hotel, I%26#39;m sure they will do the same for you. Linda

Forgot........I believe the airport buses stop running before the 9 PM. arrival. Please correct me if I am wrong. I certainly would take the bus too. Linda

See here for details of times and costs etc of bus frm Zagreb airport http://www.plesoprijevoz.hr/schedulezg.htm

am I missingn something here

penny is asking about ZAGREB airport - not DUBROVNIK airport.

Dubrovnik Airport into Dubrovnik will cost about 200 - 250 Kuna

ZAGREB airport to Dubrovnik would cost a lot more -doesn%26#39;t it take about 11 hours.

I think you are missing something Wales. The original question was regarding Zagreb airport to the Hotel Dubrovnik which is in the middle of Zagreb

Ah, I can see where the confusion is arising - the post is in the Cavtat forum for some reason and is therefore easy to take out of context.
