My husband and I will be visiting Split in late August and are planning to stay at the Le Meridien outside of Split. Just wondering if anyone has any info on the free shuttle (timings, etc.) that goes from the hotel to the city? Also, what are the timings going back to the hotel?
Are there other ways (aside from taxi) to get from the hotel to the city? I.e. bus??
Any help would be very much appreciated!!

The local bus takes you from outside fabios pizzeria - just up and on the main road up from where your staying (less than 5mins) and takes you down into Soplit dropping off outside the palace and near the ferry terminal. Return is from the opposite side of where the bus drops off and you need to get off just by The Pink Inn where again you are about 5 mins from La Meridien - we stayed at the Pink Inn and used the bus daily - cheap and reliable and a good way to view the outer areas of split etc
