You%26#39;ll find many cheaper options if you look in the Lapad region of Dubrovnik. A bit further from the old walled city, but much less tourist-y. Plenty of great bars and restaurants to choose from, and lots of great places for swimming. It is a quick bus ride to get to the old town (10 minutes), and the bus comes frequently and runs til late at night.
We really enjoyed staying in Lapad, especially upon seeing the busloads of tour groups descending on the old town.
There are tons of apartments and rooms to rent. We stayed at a place called Villa Misita.

Zadar - Zagreb
almost once every hour but check the schedule once you reach Zadar.
From Zagreb, there are buses and trains to Vienna and same for Vienna to Prague
