I am planning on taking a few bus trips in Croatia in October: From Trieste to Rovinj, Rijeka to Trogir and from Trogir to Dubrovnik.
I have looked over the schedule from Trieste and I only see one bus to Rovinj a day. Is that true? I am traveling on September 30.
I am staying in Rovinj for a few days and noticed there is an Autotrans office there. Is it possible to buy my tickets for the rest of my trip ahead of time while in Rovinj? I%26#39;m just thinking one less headache when I am rushing to catch a bus in the early morning in Rijeka. Will it save money to buy ahead? Or should I just wait until I arrive at each bus station.
Also I can%26#39;t seem to get the autotrans schedule to show any dates in October--or at least the date I plan to travel to Trogir (Oct 5). Should I be worried? I was concerned since it was a Sunday maybe there were no buses running.
Thanks for any guidance. I%26#39;m in that final stage of planning where I am trying to lock down times I need to be where.

I wouldn%26#39;be so worried about buying the bus ticket in Croatia. The bus station of Trieste is full of the points of any bus company that has their lines in Trieste. It is very easy to make the tickets at the moment. There is an Autotrans office in Rovinj, but also there, on the bus station (autobusni kolodvor)you can buy the tickets for any destination you want. It%26#39;s also possible to make the tickets directly on the bus at the moment. If Autotrans doesn%26#39;t go directly from Rijeka to Trogir, you can take any bus that goes to Split. Or if you prefer you can take the one for Zadar and change there for Split. The buses usully does the whole coast in order of arrival (Zadar, Sibenik, Trogir, Split). And usully they make a little stop in every city (15 minutes - half an hour). An advice, if you have time, visit all this cities. You can find anywhere a place to sleep, chep in October, without making a reservation in advance. If you need anything else, feel free to contact me on the forum.

Get a bus from Trieste to Pula if needs be and from there to Rovinj. Check other buses when you get there as the Autotrans site is not very good.

I agree with Emeradoil, I checked the Autotrans site even in Croatian and it doesn%26#39;t work. It%26#39;s impossible to see the time tables. Do it on the bus station directly.

Thank you all for the advice. I guess all will become clearer once I am on the ground. But it sounds like I have options and won%26#39;t get %26quot;stuck%26quot; in any city.

That%26#39;s right. You won%26#39;t get %26quot;stuck%26quot; in any city!
Have a nice trip!
