price of a cup of tea or coffee

Does anyone know the price of a cup of tea or coffee, cakes, or a sandwich in Dubrovnik. We are going later in the year on half board. Are the buses cheap for getting around?

depends where you have it - for example at small cafe just outside east gate (with view on harbour) coffee is between 4 (small black) and 7 Kuna (latte) (50 pence to 85 pence roughly), and you can purchase a pastry at akery opposite (similarly low prices). In main street cafe inside city walls prices are higher, 3 times or so - but not extortionate.

I have never seen coffee as cheap as the prices the previous poster quoted anywhere on the Dalmatian coast. 7 kuna for an espresso is OK, you tend not to get cakes with your coffee. If you go into supermarkets that have a deli they will also make up sandwiches for you although the sandwich as a concept is not really eaten much in Croatia. Buses are to time and quite cheap - the further you go, the cheaper they are.

no i never had a coffee that cheap either - I would say a coffee/cappichuno is between 8 and 10 kuna (7 kuna equals euro) - the supermarket if they have a deli will make up a sandwich for you - you pick the bread you want it made on, that the length of the sandwich - we got one one date - ham and cheese - enough for two people for 14 Kuna - (2 euro).
