Citrus Apartments Cavtat

Beware of citrus apartments in Cavtat. I had booked Citrus2 based on the photos on their web page at cavtat-apartment.com/citruscavtatapartment2.…

The photos are deceiving because they show the nicer apartnment which I believe is Citrus 1. Anyway, we arrived and decided to book into a hotel after 1 night because it wasnt worth ruining our holiday for the sake of the aditional cost. The apartment was old(despite claiming to be refurbished), all the furniture was old and it was quite grubby and dirty. The only thing that was new was the laminate flooring. I only managed to get 100 of the 300 euros I had paid back as the owner said he had turned down another booking. I (stupidly) didnt say to him about the dirt I just said that I wasnt happy as it wasnt as portrayed on the website. His excuse was that he doesnt know much about the web and it was done by a friend of his(but I noticed he hasnt changed it yet!). We had a toddler with us and I wasnt happy about her running around in the dirt. The owner showed me the other apartment when I complained but at that point it was too late as I had booked a hotel. Even the other apartment didnt quite reflect the pictures. The tan leather couch was replaced by a grotty fabric couch. I wasnt too interested at that point anyway. Booked into Iberostar Albatross and had a great holiday in Cavtat anyway!
