windsurfing croatia

I am hoping to got to croatia next summer with my family. we would fly to either Dubrovnik or Split. can anyone recommend a resort where you can hire windsurfing equipment? My son and husband are good intermediate windsurfers, so we would be looking for better than just beginner equipment and also good wind conditions.

The two places that I have seen the most windsurfing done was 1) Bol on the island of Brac and 2) Orebic, across the channel from Korcula Town. Thats where I would start looking if I were you.

Bol on Brac island, Viganj on Peljesac, nin near Zadar are all places known for windsurfing and some decent equipment can be rented there.

Almost entire summer, a nice western Maestral wind blows down the entire coast and it is perfect for windsurfing!

Bol is also a top spot for kite surfing ( with a couple of good schools) if they want to try something new!
