Getting to Porec from Pula Airport

Hi Folks,

I%26#39;m going to porec with my girlfriend this september - its the first time either of us has been to Porec or Croatia! What is the best way to get from the airport (Pula) to Porec? We are arriving at 20:15 after we get bags etc it will probably be nearer 21:00. The hotel we are staying has offered transfers but it will cost 80Eur which seems a bit pricey, although it may make things easier! Any suggestions?

so you have no other choice , either what you have been offered or try to negotiate a better price with a taxi .

i suggest you book in advance , the number is above - call them in the afternoon on the day of travel .

i would suggest a timing of 21.30 to cope with any delays . you will then arrive in porec at 22.00 - 22.30 .

Try medhotels.com transfers link,it seems from earlier posts that you don%26#39;t have to stay at their hotels to use their transfer.

I booked with http://www.istriatour.com/ in the end. 300kuna and they will meet you at the airport. has anyone used this company before?

DJ NICOL, the car hire you refer to is not regulated and will always be cheaper than local taxi%26#39;s because they don%26#39;t have most of the overheads. They have a reason for not putting an address or phone number on their site.
