Hi - can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Porec from mid to late September? Temps, climate, sea temps, etc.? We%26#39;re considering booking a trip from 14-28 Sept.
Grateful for ANY tips (also restaurants, sights, etc.)

Hi just returned from Porec. Up until last sunday the weather was extremely hot and then they had a thunder storm. After that the weather was fresher and more bearable. Returned on 09.09.08 and spent that day on the beach where it was still very hot. However the temperature did drop noticeable after 7 -8pm so take something to cover shoulder etc. We tried the Dali restaurant and were so impressed by the excellent quality of the food, we only tried a couple of other but soon returned to the Dali, you will not be disappointed. Its situated at the far end of the harbour, up a small side street. watch out for the Istra restaurant and go up that street, its not posh looking so dont be put off. One tip, take flat shoes for walking around the town centre. Porec is absolutely beautiful and take a trip on the ferry to fortuna island if you get time. Have a great holiday, regards marie
