Fly or Drive??

From Dubrovnik, how long a drive is it to Zagreb?

Would flying be better?

It depends if you want to see something on your way to Zagreb, or you just have to get there! if second option, take a plane, cause drive to Zagreb is very long, around 7-8 hours..

I also thinks it depends on where you are going. If you are flying back out of Zagreb, then I would say fly to Dubrovnik so you wouldn%26#39;t have to backtrack at all.

I would also say that driving in Croatia is quite different to driving in the USA and can be much harder work, particularly the stretch between Dubrovnik and Split which only has one lane going in each direction. This means you can be under pressure to keep up with trucks and buses with timetables to meet.

I would also agree that the reason for doing this is important. If you are not interested in seeing anything between Dub and Zagreb then fly, but you will miss seeing some of the most beautiful parts of Croatia.

thanks, we will have spent 12 days in Croatia driving from Istria to Dubrovnik and beyond and will need to catch a flight out of Prague back to US. I thought about driving to Zagreb and then flying to Prague but now I see it would be foolish and we will probably get a flight from Dubrovnik to Prague and look around before our flight home.
