Dubrovnik taxis and excursions

We%26#39;re going to get the shuttle bus from Dubrovnik Airport to Pile Gate and we%26#39;ve read that a bus meets each scheduled flight. Is there just one bus or several? We will need time at the airport to change some money into kuna.

Also, can anyone give me an idea how much a taxi is from Pile Gate to Ploce area? We%26#39;ve booked an apartment on Bruna Busica.

Also also, we want to go on a trip to Mostar and maybe Montenegro and understand there are 2 main agents, Atlas and Elite. Are there any (smaller?) agents which deal with smaller groups? We don%26#39;t really want to be in a huge group if possible. Any feedback would be appreciated.

For private trips, have a look at www.secretdalmatia.com

Another option is Adriatic Luxury Services www.als.hr

We returned from Croatia on Saturday and stayed in Makarska. We did a day trip to Mostar with elite travel and it was very good. This included the transfers and a 1hr 30min guided tour. Don’t forget to take your passports. From Makarska both Atlas and Elite offered the trip for the same price 380kn per person. Not sure how much it will cost from Dubrovnik. Hope this helps, enjoy your stay.

My wife and I just returned from Croatia but were picked up at the airport, however I wouldn%26#39;t be too concerned with changing money- if you can%26#39;t get it at the airport there are plenty of atms and banks as soon as you get to Dubrovnik. A taxi shouldn%26#39;t be too much from

the Pile Gate to Ploce, we always rode the bus, its certainly very easy. We did not go to Mostar, but we did rent a car and drove to Montenegro, it was no problem and gives you much more flexiblity. I did rent that through Atlas.

Have Fun
