Zadar to Split by train?

I need to travel to Split from Zadar by train. Can anyone advise me? I tried to work out the trains on the web but found it a little confusing.

Am I right in thinking there aren%26#39;t many connections?

forget about it. Zadar is poorly connected by train to the rest of the Croatia. Take the bus and you have some 3 hours to Split along the scenic coast

Yes take the bus!

Bus is better by far.Make sure you have right hand side-window seat as forward as possible.

But back to original question. If you are really train addict you have to change at Knin knot spot.So here it is:kiss Zadar goodbye for a 2hrs ride at 06:40,10:00,14:20,21:30.On average, splitting train (from Zagreb)arrives in 2hrs.Another 2 hrs later you will see the seagulls above the sea.
