Private Accomodation - 2 br Apartment just outside old town

A Bad Review: We stayed in this apartment for 2 nights,

we discovered the owner was entering the apartment when we were not there and we caught him turning off the airconditioning at 4am and again at 5am, (we could not believe our eyes, to hear the beep-beep of the aircon. unit and to look at the unit to see the sillouette of a man is creepy) he was standing outside on the step and pointing the aircon remote towards the unit. The owner lives at 18 Petra Kersimira IV, directly above the apartment, to get to the apartment you walk down 20 steps and the apartment is numbered 10, the front door is half wood and half yellow frosted glass. Keep Away From This One!!! We have visited Croatia twice in the last 2 years and always stay in private accomodation; we have never had an experience like this, he is one bad apple!

We stayed in Apartment Silva. Very basic but in the perfect location. Very clean and tidy. Owners live off site. Bonus!

We stayed in Apartment Silva in September and to be honest I was disappointed. I had read so many good things on TA but when we got there it looked a bit shabby. And the bedroom window doesn%26#39;t close properly so it was very draughty. It got very windy at night when we were there and the wind gusted around the room and nearly froze us to death. It is a good location and it wasn%26#39;t bad, but I can%26#39;t really say much else for it.

We also stayed in Apartment Bete, in the Old Town and owned by the same people, and it was lovely.

And thankfully the owner didn%26#39;t pay us any midnight visits like the OP - that is plain weird and very scary.
